Day 4 Flower gardens, views over the Eildon Hills and a fantastic insight into the greatest Scottish romantic poet, Sir Walter Scott at Abbotsford. Go behind the scenes of cashmere production at a local mill. A stroll around pretty Melrose has to include beautiful Melrose Abbey, and Robert the Bruce's heart.

Day 5 After Duchess of Roxburgh's Floors Castle, marvel at the ruins of Dryburgh Abbey, visit Scott's View and romantic Snailholm Tower. Time, too, to browse around bustling Kelso.

Day 6. Scotland's finest Adams Mansion at Mellerstain House is on today's itinerary. We travel "South of the Border" and spend some time on the historic monastic Holy Isle of Lindisfarne.

Day 7 A break in Scotland's capital city would be a fantastic end to a fantastic vacation…
