Scotland - Romance & Raiders

There's an amazing diversity of landscape - mountain passes, winding streams, shimmering lochs and wooded hills. There is history at every turn in the Scottish Borders shaped by their past as a frontier land.

"O swiftly can speed my dapple-gray steed,
Which drinks of the Teviot clear;
Ere break of day,' the warrior 'gan say,
'Again will I be here "
"The Ride to Melrose" Sir Walter Scott
